Hi,

Myself and my mother are continuing our way from Pamplona where we finished walking last year. We fly into Biarritz and need to get to Pamplona from there. Can anyone advise the best way?

Many thanks
Helen

There are buses weekdays at 0415 and 1505 from Bayonne to Pamplona. They go through Biarritz and San Sebastian. On Saturday and Sunday there also is a 0835 bus.

PESA and ALSA (CONDA) provide bus service from Biarritz Airport to Donostia/San Sebastian. PESA is twice daily. ALSA varies by season.

Transports64 provides bus service #816 from Biarritz Airport to Gare d'Hendaye. Some buses go as far as Irun Renfe station. Service is hourly.

Metro Donostialdea provides commuter train service from Hendaia, co-located with Gare d'Hendaye to Irun Colon (across the tracks from Irun Renfe Station) and San Sebastian Amara (across the river from San Sebastian bus station and Renfe Station). Service every half hour.

ALSA (CONDA) provides bus service from San Sebastian to Pamplona, almost hourly.

Renfe provides train service from Irun (or San Sebastian) to Pamplona twice daily.

Renfe provides commuter Cercanias train service from Irun to San Sebastian.

Best option depends on when you arrive. If schedule works I'd go with PESA or ALSA (CONDA) to Donostia/San Sebastian (PESA sked uses Donostia) and ALSA (CONDA) from San Sebastian to Pamplona.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
