Pyrenees in March

We begin our first Camino March 20. Bit wary of the climb up on day 1. Will there still be lots of snow. If we want to stop. Are there Albergues before Roncevelles?

The Napoleon (higher) route is closed until April 1st. You will need to take the route through the Valcarlos valley. There is a wonderful albergue in the town of Valcarlos, about half way to Roncesvalles. Weather could be anything from beautiful sunshine to blizzard, even on the lower route.
