Time of past OR future Camino
June 2015
Hi everyone! I am planning on doing part of the Camino end of May beginning of June 2015. I was thinking about doing part of the Camino Portugues starting at Valenca to cross the border between Portugal and Spain. I only have about 8-9 days to walk. Can you recommend other parts of the Camino that I can walk and still get a Compostela?

If this is your first Camino the Sarria to Santiago is a lovely Camino, about six days and a day or two to explore Santiago or get a bus to Finistera or Muxia.
Buen Camino.

I agree with wayfarer although I understand the Camino Portuguese is a beautiful way I don't think it would be my choice as a first Camino. Some post suggest there are areas of road walking which can be "quite dangerous" (though I confess never to have walked this route myself! It is one that is on my bucket list)?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

I read on a book of a fellow pilgrim and he does mention that there are some areas where you have to walk I guess what it would be the emergency lane. How is the Camino from Sarria? Flat, hills?
