ps - what pilgrim centre? There are at least two that come to mind, both with what might be considered chapels.

Surely there is only one pilgrim centre? That which is inside oneself?

Aah … do you mean the chapel at the Pilgrim Office? The Daily Mass there starts at 10.30. Fr. Manny is so wonderful and his words absolutely would heal the most callous heart. The statue of Mary as a pilgrim, holding the infant Jesus in the chapel makes me cry every time I see it and indeed each time I recall it. The chapel is a very sacred and special place for me.

The Santiago pilgrim office issued 3,171 Compostelas today. The second time so far this year when the total has been over 3,000. The first was on Good Friday when 3,193 Compostelas were handed out.
