Riding a horse from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela

Hello,

Does anyone know of a place in Sarria to arrange guided tour of the Camino by horse? My wife has walked the whole of the Camino (to Sarria), but her travelling companion has injured their foot, and they are interested in finishing the remainder on horseback. The only ranches I was able to find were in/near Lugo.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Redguard,

The Albergue Privado Paloma y Leña in Prado Novo/San Mamede do Camiño just east of Sarria accommodates horses and riders as well as other pilgrims. Their telephone is 982 53 32 48, 658 90 68 16. Website http://www.palomaylena.com. I have stayed there as a walker and they are very accommodating; perhaps they can help find a renting stable for you.

Good luck and Buen Camino to your wife and her companion!

Margaret
