Santiago to Leon

Hola

I'll be arriving in santiago on the 29th june around 11.30am, i am trying to travel to leon on the same day.
It would appear that both the bus and train have only 1 service per day and both leave santiago around 8-9am.
Does anyone know of any other way of getting to leon, leaving santiago around mid-day ?

Thankyou, Buen Camino

Paul

Santiago-LĂ©on

I would go to the bus station /train station and catch first bust or train to either Ourense, Lugo or Monforte de Lemos.
From these towns there are more connections to LĂ©on. Check Renfe, but I think there's a night train from Galicia (to Madrid or Barcelona?) that has a stop in LĂ©on, and you should be there around midnight.
Will you start your camino in LeĂłn next day? Then maybe that's a little late, but my guess is that you could get there somewhat earlier by taking local buses in the right direction.

I've taken a bus from SdC to Astorga that left at about midday I think. From there there are loads of connections to Leon.
