I was feeling a little nostalgic this afternoon so I visited the Santiago webcams and watched little people and a few vehicles crossing the Obradoiro sqaure in front of the cathedral. For a really lovely sight, watch it in the early morning when the sun rises behind the cathedral.
Can't wait to be back there in September.

Nave?

I like how the "nave" of the cathedral (the long arm of the building where the congregation stands) is called the "ship" by the translator.

Of course, that's what the word literally means, since the Church is the Ship of Peter (or even better, the Barque of Peter) sailing on the stormy seas of the world's troubles.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
