Scams using Booking.com

Hi all, please be aware that there is a scam happening via Booking.com asking updates of bank details and emails from hostel bookings that you’ve already made etc. Booking.com seem to be aware that their site has been hijacked. The messages look very real, and ask that the pay details must be updated within 12 hours or you’ll lose your already agreed booking. Don’t push the link this message is attached to. Hope this info helps.

A very similar scam in recent days regarding Uber. An email from a very official looking site Uber1 is asking you to update your payment information so you can continue the ride program.
