Second Camino

Hello Again:

I am starting my second Camino August 28 from Philadelphia. I will be landing in Biarritz, August 29. Last year I did the Camino Frances. I probably will be doing the same Camino, however I see Camino Norte starts @ Irun. How would I get to Irun? Walking is ok.

If anyone else wants to join me in Barritz I will be happy to share a cab or a companion.

Hi Sejeleme,

You can easily get from Biarritz to Hendaye with SNCF the french train company.
See link:

When you get out of the station of Hendaye just go to the right and after a few hundred meters you will cross the bridge " Point St.Jacques" or " Puente de Santiago" in Spanish. That's the official starting-point of the North-route and the bridge crosses the river Bidasoa. At the other side of the bridge you are already in Irun: I think it is 1 km from Hendaye railstation. There's an albuerge in Irun.

Good luck and Buen Camino,

paul
