We’ll see you all in Spain as we walk our favorite section of the Camino Frances - Burgos to Sarria.

We were blessed by our Parish Priest yesterday as we begin our pilgrimage from home - Bay St Louis, Mississippi - even if the walking begins in Burgos.

We step out on April 16 and finish May 8.

We hope to meet you on The Way!

Blessings to all current and future pilgrims - John and Ning Wiebmer0564CC2D-E2F9-4501-B762-AF356DCCF211.jpegCA97049E-8979-4648-9C75-F1C870A7FD2A.jpeg

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

A great day to start in Burgos! I'm also arriving April 16. I'm headed to Santo Domingo de Silo on the 17th though, so I'll be a few days behind you on the Francés. By any chance are you coming up from Madrid on ALSA?

Fingers crossed for good weather. Buen Camino!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

What a lovely way to start your Camino! Are you spending time with the Monks at Santo Domingo? I had forgotten how small these lovely Camino towns are....how I wish I could attend Mass every day. Perhaps we will run into each other. We'll be in Fromista tonight -- April 18.

Yes, I'm in Santo Domingo de Silos now. What an amazing place. Morning prayer was ethereal. If anyone needs to lower their blood pressure by a couple hundred points, this is the place to do it. A couple dozen monks, softly chanting in rhythm, a dimly-lit huge stone church... just amazing.

You'll be a couple days ahead of me on the Camino, so it's unlikely we'll cross paths. But.... You never know. :)
