Seeking for partner for camino frances in the beginning!

Hi everyone, I am a 22 years old girl. I would like to start my camino on July 7 from Pamplona. But I am afraid of the safety alone. Could someone be my partner in the beginning of the camino? thank you!

Vinny, there are some ways to keep yourself out of harm's way and also some other ways to find walking partners. Something you might try is going to the women's Facebook site called CAMIGAS. It exists to provide a place for females to learn about and do this with an eye toward women's issues, and they have an active sign-up page and easy ways of communicating back and forth to find others to walk with. It's a closed group, but if they can identify you as a female by your Facebook page, you might have better success doing things that way. Hope that's acceptable to say on this forum. Vinny look at the forum calendar of departures ; top of the page on the headline , for your date . There will be other forum members leaving at the same time.
A loose arrangement to walk together for a while will see you on your way.

Hi Vinny, I walked the CF last year and on 2 occasions I had women ask me to walk with them as they felt a little unsafe especially early morning when it was still dark. So don't hesitate to ask to walk with someone. Maybe take a whistle with you?
