When shipping items to Santiago where are they stored, how quickly do they need to be retrieved?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
It really depends where you send them to. The Postoffice keeps them for max 15 days, the better option might be Casa Ivar (same guy that runs this forum ;-) see http://www.casaivar.com He will keep it until you arrive. Buen Camino, SY

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

I shipped things from Viana to Santiago to be held in the post office. We ran into some problems that really slowed us down and I went to the post office in Ponferrada and managed to get our stuff held longer. It required speaking Spanish though.

the better option might be Casa Ivar
That would have been better but I didn't know about the service last year.

I sent excess bits and pieces from Portomarin and Melide to Ivar: what a great service he provides! Reasonable postage rates, too, and helpful P.O. staff. Just be aware that Ivar's office closes for the siesta: check his hours via this site first...
