Sending Non-essentials To Hotel In Santiago

Hi all. Starting my 1st Camino in 2 days from Sarria (doing Camino "lite" ). Have been traveling in other parts of Spain and will also continue to other parts after Santiago. So I have clothes and other stuff that are not needed for the Camino. What's the best way to send those things from Sarria to the hotel I'll be staying in Santiago? Is there a Correos in Sarria, is it reliable and is it open on Saturdays in Sarria?

Thanks for any leads. Am anxious about the Camino as it's my 1st and am alone so getting this 1 thing off my mind will help a lot.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Our own Ivar runs a luggage collection service: see the Services tab at the top.

For information on the Correos in Sarria including address and hours use this web .

For more in English on sending your luggage and/or backpack from within Spain at a reasonable cost to SdC see Luggage Transfer in this Spanish Post Office/Correos web.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Welcome to the Forum, @Chocoluvr!

If you haven't already, I would check with the hotel in Santiago to make sure they'll receive and hold your package before you arrive. Some hotels here may not have the capacity/ room for that service. In that case using Ivar's services, or even shipping your box to the Correos office in Santiago, would be great options.

Enjoy all the planning and Buen Camino!

Hi all. Just to give an update. I thought of checking with the office in Sarria of Tee Travel with whom I booked my self-guided walk. The kind lady in the office checked with the same company that does the luggage transfer which then said they can do a direct transfer from Sarria to Santiago. I just had to buy a box at the Eurobazar in Sarria (which, BTW, has anything and everything!) & left the properly labelled box with my luggage at the hotel in Sarria. Paid 10 Euros and my box was waiting for me in my hotel in Santiago. All good! Thanks all for your suggestions. Hope my experience helps someone else who might have the same issue.
