I am considering replacing my old Nikon D70 camera with a newer Sony NEX camera. Many have recommended buying the NEX 6 as instead of buying the NEX 7 while others have suggested wating and buy the newer model that is due out later this year.

Has anybody had any direct experience with these cameras and if so what you recommend?

I am also considering if i could continue to use my old Nikon lens in particular my AF-S 18-135 Nikkor lens with the Sony NEX camera. Is this a feasible option?

Thanks

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Although I lack the direct experience, this may be of help: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonynex7

I think your notion of using SLR lenses with the NEX body is likely to not be successful; due to the mechanical interface. It just about broke my heart, as a long-time Minolta owner, when Minolta was sold first to Konica and then to Sony. The NEX 7 might be grounds for me to forgive Sony.
