Do you know at what point in the mass it was sung? Before or after communion? During communion? Between the readings? It sounds like it could be the responsorial psalm between the readings.Hola,

Johnnie, Please forgive me if this question has been asked before, but I have wondered more than once...The nun in the cathedral
Hola - It depends when you heard her singing! The current nun who sings is Madre Victoria who is orginally from Argentina - she has been there fore about a year. Previously it was Madre Maria Asuncion.
She was amazing. When I arrived in Santiago on June 26, 2015, I went directly to the cathedral to find out if a pilgrim might be allowed to do the scripture reading. It was she who auditioned me and let me do it. She also sang for the swinging of the botafumeiro at the end of the Mass.Johnnie, Please forgive me if this question has been asked before, but I have wondered more than once...
Who is this nun with the spine-tingling voice? She's such a strong presence and I missed hearing her participation in the masses when I was there in early April.
