I am now walking Camino Primitivo and several places have I seen this sign. Does anyone know what it means?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

A spiral blue arrow indicates the reverse route. Usually it is on the back of the mojone.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I don’t think this had something to do with a reverse route. It was painted on stones, trees etc.

It is simply a grafiti, I think.

Okay, here is my analytical take. The underlying symbol appears to be an infinity sign, the sort of flattened number eight (8).

The arrow leading upwards, away from infinity IMHO, likely means "Onward to Infinity..." At least that is one plausible explanation...

One might make the case that conceptually, this could fit the Camino... think on it for a moment...

Hope this helps the dialog...

According to this article, a 33 year old French pilgrim on the Camino Primitivo has been arrested for painting his particular sign (roughly the infinity sign with an arrow going through it) on numerous signs and camino mojones (I think the word is bollards). Some pictures and the full article here:

No objections from this peregrina!
I couldn't get the article at your URL but I did find it at

The article was written in August 2014.

Most likely just an unneeded graffiti but could be understood also as:
"Not all who wander are lost".

Maybe? ;)

Thanks to those of you who have wished me Buen Camino pm! My plan was Salvador/Prim, but 1) cold feet because of a knee (old injury) and 2) would have to rush with no possibilty of short/rest...
We are arriving in Madrid on May 5th. I went online today to purchase train tickets to Oviedo and it doesn't show any train service. Does that mean the trains are sold out? Or maybe some other...
Hi, has anyone walked the Primitivo in mid-October? What was it like? Weather, tracks and accommodation? I plan to walk from Oviedo to Lugo only, then bus to Santiago after. Thanks for your input.
