Two Aussies starting Camino Norte in Irun on 28th May.
Be prepared for the most glorious walk ever. The 1st week involves alot of hills but it settles down after that. Pace yourself and enjoy the amazing views, fab food and delicious wine. Oh the people were all charming and lovely. Post some pics. After what you guys have been through this will be heaven! Buen camino

The first week on The Norte is challenging. Don't let that stop you. It gets much better as you progress forward.
I just arrived in Novellana and only saw 4 other pilgrims all day.
Enjoy!!

Hello! I'll be starting el Norte in IrĂşn on 21st June.
Be prepared for an amazing hike. The 1st week is challenging but the scenery and tortias make it all worth while. My favorite moment is walking from irun then coming around the curve to see the spectacular San sebastian coastline in all its glory. Breath-taking. Buen camino
