Flights booked into Barcelona & starting from SJPDP April 7, 2020... For the second time, in as many years, heading out to meet more Camino friends and enjoy a fabulous adventure! Instead of trekking on to Finisterre & Muxia (2019), going to hop a train from Santiago to Porto and take the coastal route back... What fun two Caminos...!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Great day to start - the birthday of St. Francis Xavier in 1506! Wordsworth .... Billie Holiday ... Ravi Shankar ... Francis Ford Coppola ...
If I was going to light a candle I would go for Francis Xavier .. patron saint of missionaries, founder of the Jesuits, and he was born in Navarre!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Great Idea!, in 2017 I met an American father and son during the Frances. We walked to Finisterre and the son and I decided to take a bus to Lisbon to walk the Portuguese as well . We ended up including camino Fatima as well. Awesome experience. You will have a great time. Porto is the place to start walking the Portuguese. Did not like the part between Lisbon and Porto that much. But why do the Frances again? The Norte is awesome as well.

Why Frances again? I was giving a lot of thought to the Norte, even bought the guidebook, but I have the opportunity to walk from SJPdP to Burgos with two cousins who I rarely see. Really looking forward to being with them and experiencing those first days out of St Jean together. Norte? If I’m still moving, perhaps 2021?
