and this is my first Camino and I'll be walking solo. I'm planning to take it really easy. I have several questions:
How long does it take and where do I go to get to get an SIM cell phone card for Spain in Sarria?
When you change dollars into Euros, is the exchange rate the same everywhere or are there some better deals in certain banks or airports? I am planning to exchange my money at the Barajas airport in Madrid. Is that OK?
Is it better to take a bus or a train to go from Santiago, where I arrive, to Sarria: how much and how often do they run?
Some people say that it's better to book private accomodations ahead of time. Since I am walking the last week in October and the first week in November, would I still need to do that? I've already booked the Sarria accomodation.
I want to take it easy and walk about 4 hours maximum per day. Could someone recommend a certain itinerary of where to stay, Sarria-Santiago in 13 days?
Any advise you give me would be appreciated.
I speak Spanish fluently. I hope I can be of some service to the pilgrims walking with me.
I'm very much into Yoga and meditation. Let me know if you share similar interests. Maybe we can do yoga and/or meditate together.
OM SHANTI,
Buen Camino!
