Starting my Camino on May 10th-ish

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Hi, fellow Washingtonian ( I'm from the Wenatchee area). Welcome to the forum... it's nice having you here. :D

It sounds like you've been through a lot, and that Camino will be part of the healing process for your mental as well as physical trauma. This forum is here to help as best we can. Please feel free to use the search engine to locate specific topics of interest in any research you need to do.

Also, there is a chapter of American Pilgrims on The Camino in the Seattle area, and that can be be a great resource for you. Check out their FAQs. They also have regular meetings and gatherings open to anyone interested. You can also obtain your pilgrim's official Credencial from them -- for free -- before you depart; and they can provide you with the first stamp showing your starting point of origin.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Gracias! The Seattle website looks like a great resource, and we'll plan on getting our Credencials before we go. You are absolutely right about the mental and physical trauma. This will certainly be a spiritual adventure for me.

Miss Becky from Greater Seattle, welcome aboard, your first post! You are going to have an awesome camino. Where are you starting from, Roncesvalles, St Jean Pied de Port, Pamplona, Sarria? Buena suerte, y que la luz de Dios alumbre su camino.
I want to start in St Jean Pied de Port and do the Valcarlos route, but in 2 days to Roncesvalles rather than one. I broke my right foot/ankle in the car accident so don't plan on doing 25 km a day, nor the entire 700 km. We will do the last 100 km, but I want to do additional segments before it gets too crowded.

Thank you Miss Becky for the update. You have a good plan. God bless "Team Becky" y que la luz de Dios alumbre su camino.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi, I live near Seattle WA (USA). I survived a near-fatal car crash (tree fell on me) 2 years ago, regained the ability to walk, and my goal is to do (part of) the Camino, with gratitude that I am alive.
Great attitude.
