Hi all,
I have not posted since this time lat year ,in fact last week was the first time that I had logged into the site since that time.I was booked and planned to walk the Camino Frances last August,I had to cancel my plans due to health problems, doctors advice and four days in hospital.I was very disappointed, angry in fact and it took me some time to get over it and recover.Stopped walking and lost interest. However the pull of the Camino is unbelievable I kept meeting strangers who would talk about the Camino, met a guy at a Lenten lecture and he told me that I would walk the Camino when I was ready.
I am back walking again and planning my pilgrimage, hoping for September this year.I am having problems coming to consensus with myself as to which route to walk,I have no intention of becoming a bed chaser on the Frances,I want to enjoy my pilgrimage, walk alone, walk with other pilgrims,go to mass and take in the culture.Thought about the De la Plata route,a bit worried that it could be quiet and I might have problems with the signposts, also thinking about the Notre.Enough rambling I have taken great encouragement from the wonderful and moving posts on here,so thank you all.
Buen Camino,
