Hi readers. Don't really need advice but I have 5 1/2 weeks before I start my 4th Frances segment which will take me to Santiago at least. My previous segments finished in Logrono, Belorado and Astorga. I have 12 days which is plenty to get from Astorga to Santiago. What I find a little amusing is that one day I am determined to "leg it" and get to Finisterre and the next day I think Santiago is the perfect end point. My current thinking is to walk with an eye to the weather and whatever happens happens. If it rains, maybe take it easy. If it's lovely, walk.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Yes, go with the flow. Arriving in Santiago may do it for you or alternatively you may be still in 'walking mode' and go further.
Whatever you choose, enjoy :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Leave plans and expectations out of your backpack. The Camino provides.
