Stream crossings after Caparra

2023. Finish the VDLP. Zamora to Santiago.
Today the last stream crossing after Caparra had a central block washed away. It was downstream and the reinforcing rods were sticking up. It must have been a tremendous flow to do this. Still able to cross but the stepping stones on the missing section are not stable.
Later just after the first underpass the really dangerous one was crossable as all the blocks were in place but with logs hard up against the central
Blocks. Can cross but doubtful if more rain comes.
Suggest checking before leaving Carcaboso
Snow on the mountains also to the north east. Chilly but with the sun shining it is perfect walking weather
Buen Camino

Hola @happymarkos
I was in Nth Africa during April and saw the weather forecasts & reports for Spain during that period, so I am not surprised at these reports about difficulties crossing the water courses on various parts of the camino. Hopefully you are now clear of the water and enjoying the trail into Salamanca!!

Thanks Saint Mike II
It would have been much worse in March.
Finished in Salamanca two weeks ago.
Starting to get hot during the day unlike northern Spain where I believe it has been snowing.
Regards
