Leaving USA Week of June 12
I've heard mention of pilgrims carring tents. Yes, it's added weight and there are so many places to stay so skip the tent......but I am a tent guy. Maybe it's because my sleep number is 100, or my family members tell me I could wake an infrantry of people. Questions: Are there places? Is it safe? Would it be inappropriate to my guest the whole Spanish culture and their great hospitalily and their desire to be in service to "the pilgrims"?

Start the Walk June 13

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Bring a wee tent. You will be happy you did. Just leave no trace and ask permission when possible. I often tent in the Albergue yard with permission so I can use kitchen and shower. I pay, of course, if I use the facilities.
