Hi!
My name is Diane Borden (from Colorado, USA) and I hope to walk from Astorga to Finisterre with my husband and our 5 kids (ages 14 to 21) the end of July into August 2017. We realize this is a busy time to go, yet the only time our schedules can all collide. We've dreamed of walking as a family for about 4 years now, and with it being our son's final summer before graduating from university, we thought we better seize the moment!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Savor the time with your family. I have taken a wilderness trip of 1 ~ 2 weeks with my two sons every year since they were 3 and 4 until last year. Sometimes my better half chaperoned. We did a lot of other traveling together as a family, but those wilderness trips were an incredible bonding experience. No distractions (sports, tv, phones, girls, etc.). Now the oldest is in college, and the youngest will be this summer. They started in the summer to fulfill their summer credit requirement for graduation. It really altered our ability to coordinate a family vacation. It is tough having to share them with others, girlfriends etc. I really enjoyed having them both home for Christmas. I will walk my first camino this fall while they are in school. They will not be with me physically, but they will always be by my side.

Buen Camino
