What a contrast between the two: one was a good, possibly great, actor and war hero the other was John Wayne!

I remember watching a long Michael Parkinson interview with James Stewart many years ago. He came across as a very modest and humorous man with an extraordinary life story that he passed over very lightly.

Was that the one where he read out a poem to his much loved and recently deceased dog? Certainly had me in tears!
What got me was his versatility - light comedy to serious drama whereas with John Wayne you got . . . John Wayne!

We are walking the "voie de capitales" from mont st michel to santiago. We are the slowest pilgrims only able to do four days a year at the moment ....but taking each beautiful step at at time.

Sorry for hijavking this question guys I would like some urgent information.Will it be possible to walk to Roncesvalles on Thursday from Orisson?
we are hoping to get to Orisson and back by taxi then back to Orisson on thursdayto walk to Roncesvalles

It's a yes from me, though I am walking the Valcarlos route with an overnight in Valcarlos at the very end of this month.

We started our Camino in Mont St Michel a few years ago. We are on the final part of the Voie de Tours Dax to Roncesvalles. This beautiful weather has caught us by surprise, especially the morning mist. 26 degrees today!!!
