Toronto Pilgrims Meeting- Saturday, November 5th

The Toronto Chapter will be hosting their regular Fall meeting on Saturday November 5, 2011 at St. Matthews United Church (729 St Clair Ave West Toronto). Starting time is 1:30 sharp and all interested persons are welcome to attend. Parking is very limited so please consider the TTC. Arrive early to complete applications for membership and credential requests, which can be completed prior to the start of the 2½ hour meeting. The meeting should be very exciting featuring: Beverly Robson, a short presentation from MEC, members’ Camino photographs and breakout groups on various aspects of the Camino. 1:40pm Bev Robson is a veteran Camino Pilgrim having walked the Camino Frances, Camino Portuguese and has just completed the Camino Norte. She is an author of Planning Your Camino: Preparing "The Way" (http://www.planningyour camino.blogspot.com)
2:20pm Seven from Mountain Equipment Co-Op has just returned from his Camino pilgrimage and will report on what equipment he “loved and some that he didn’t love so much.”
2:30pm Break - Photo Display (see special request-below)
3:00pm Panel Discussion...answering a variety of questions related to the Camino
3:50pm meeting ends

SPECIAL REQUESTS
1-As part of the “coffee break” portion of the meeting, we are requesting pilgrims bring their Camino photographs and display them during the break time. If you are interested in showing your photographs please contact Patrick at http://www.torontocamino@rogers.com for more details.
2-We all have a variety of “gently used” hiking equipment that we no longer want/need or can fit into. The chapter is seeking donations that we can sell during the coffee break with all proceeds going directly to a pilgrim’s hostel project. Books related to the Camino are also welcome.
