Hello all, I am flying into Porto and start my Camino in Tui, has any of you travelled this way by public transport? Would like advice. Thanks

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

I have just done that. Train from porto. Got off at Nine and caught another train to valenca. Walked across to Tui. Cost from porto was 14 euro

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
It too bad you can't walk from Porto to Santiago:(. I have taken the bus from Santiago to Lisbon;). Bus or train, your pick. If you're not pressed for time take the bus. You'll have time to see what you missed.
Go on line to check both and see which one will be best for you. Portugal has a very good and efficient bus and rail system. Try to visit the boarder fort in Valenca. It's right by the bridge you will have to cross to get to Spain. Buen Camino.

Happy Trails

The few days' walk before Tui are, I think, the best part of the Camino Portugues. It's a pity you are planning to miss them!
