Transport from Puente la Reina to Madrid

Can anyone who has completed the Aragones advise of the quickest way to Madrid from Puente la Reina? There does not appear to be a train station in the vicinity so I expect it will be bus, or bus & train. Is it possible to take a bus directly to Madrid, or is it the case that one must bus to Burgos and then take a train? I will be travelling in July. Thanks.

Happy research and Buen camino!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
We have done Madrid to Puente. Catch a bus from Puente to Pamplona. Less than half an hour. Bus station to train station is walkable or catch local bus. Pamplona train goes into Madrid Atocha.
