Camino Frances: St. Jean Pied de Port to Carrión.
Hi there! I am heading to Madrid to walk a portion of the Camino Frances, and am looking for one or two people to share a taxi with from Pamplona to St. Jean Pied de Port. I am arriving on the AVE train from Madrid to Pamplona at 10:38am on September 20th, and could meet at the entrance of the train station at 11am. If I could find two additional pilgrims to share a taxi to split the cost, that would be ideal. Thanks!

Hi, laura, and welcome to the Forum 😁

When I considered transport from Madrid to Pamplona, and then on to SJPdP (I ended up taking a flight from Madrid to Biarritz), I found this taxi company in Pamplona. They specialize in transporting pilgrims from Pamplona to Saint Jean Pied de Port.

You make your reservation online. You tell them your arrival location for pick up. During the reservation process, you can choose an option stating that you want to share a taxi with others going to SJPdP. The fare is shared by all the passengers. The company will then work to schedule a full taxi for you.

If they already have a taxi scheduled to travel to SJPdP near your time of arrival in Pamplona, and that taxi still has a seat available, they can reserve a seat on that taxi for you.
