Time of past OR future Camino
Sarria-Santiago (Sept. 2013)
Does anyone have a good "Camino-friendly" fluent English speaking travel agent they could recommend to help me with my first Camino starting in mid-September? My European languages are no where close to being good enough to try this other than English. Name and contact number would be great.

Also, how long is the train ride from Santiago to Madrid?

Thanks for your patience cause I'm going to be asking about 1000 other questions.

Hi Hope-ologist, when I first saw your post I wondered why anyone would want a travel agent for the Camino. Having read your posts on another thread I have some understanding.

There are tour organisers, some advertise on this website, others are easily found on a google search, who will arrange luggage transfers, accommodation and even flights and trains to get you to and from the Camino. English speaking and with English speaking tour-guides. I can't recommend any of them, never tried them, but I can recommend this forum as a wonderful source of information and possibly all the resource you will need. There are plenty of people providing luggage transfers between Sarria and Santiago and local taxis advertise their services all along the route should you find you have challenged yourself on distance and need a ride. Although a little Spanish will help, the locals along the Camino are well used to pilgrims. It's not difficult to communicate your needs.

Buen Camino and keep fighting your fight.
