New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
You should consider walking from Biarritz. That's what I did this year. It's a couple of days of easy walking along the coast in France before you have to face the ups and downs after Irun. It's marked, and there are albergues. You can see the stages on Gronze.

I would get the SNCF train from Biarritz to Hendaye then, depending on where you are staying in Irun, you can walk across the border to Irun or get the Euskotren to whichever stop is closest to your accommodation.

Thank you for your advice 🙏

The bus number 3 to Hendaye stops outside the airport and will drop you at Hendaye station. Irun is just across the Santiago Bridge. Txiktxak.fr will give you all the information you need. Longer than the train but half the price and the bonus is that it's right outside the airport! Buen Camino.

Is the walk from Biarritz airport to Irún doable in a day?
