Tina, your question got posted under the heading "on horseback." That might be why you haven't gotten much help so far. You might want to look elsewhere in the forum. There's a whole section on "Getting to the Camino" Here's a link: http://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/forums/traveling-to-from-the-camino.19/
You might find either something there that will help or if you post your question there you might get more assistance. I don't know the answer to your question but there IS someone out there on the forum that can help you. Pennie

No...by train...is it possíble?

There is NO train or bus direct to O Cebreiro; the closest village accessible by public transport is Pedrafitta do Cebreiro about 5 k to the east of O Cebreiro.

You can take --
a train from Madrid to Ponferrada and then a bus to Pedrafitta do Cebreiro and then a taxi or walk west to O Cebreiro itself.

or

a bus from Madrid to Pedrafitta do Cebreiro and then a taxi or walk west to O Cebteiro itself.

Click this Rome2Rio web site to see these options. Once the preset page loads click the bubbles for further info.

Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith
