Starting in Porto on 4 September. How has the traffic been to Santiago? Pretty normal or very crowded?
Thanks

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I’m on the CP coastal right now so I don’t have any specific info for the central, but I think you can assume it will be pretty crowded. The 20-bed albergue I’m at in Baiona tonight is full.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

When did it become full? Full before 2:30 because of reservations, full soon after 2:30 due to pilgrims lined up at opening, or full after 5:30 because staff wanted to call it a day?

When I arrived at about 3pm the ‘completo’ sign was up, as all beds were either already taken or reserved.
