hola peregrinos ...

i did the camino de la costa + primitivo 2 years ago on my trusted fixed gear bike and it was the most amazing trip of my life. now my plan was to start in seville around july 6 and make it up to santiago in one month.

unwisely ive read all the posts about the heat, no water and empty albergues so now im a bit discouraged. on the bike you can start really early and take a long break around noon to avoid the heat and still get to your destination. carrying enough water on the bike should also be fine. but no fellow pilgrims at night is not a nice prospect when you are travelling by yourself!

can somebody please deny or confirm my second thoughts ;-)

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
or to put it differently: is somebody around who has actually done it in the summer on a bike? if its too tough to do all the way from seville where is a good point to start along the route? merida? or further up in the mountains?
