Hi Everyone!
I am so happy to join this forum. I came to Europe in October to walk the Likya Yolu in Turkey. After, I bounced around Turkey, Greece, and Italy for a bit but I missed walking so here I am on the Via de la Plata!

I began walking the Via de la Plata from Sevilla yesterday. Unfortunately my cell phone was stolen today in Camas. I went to the police and although they could not retrieve my phone they were amazingly helpful. They drove me to a mobile store to get a new phone and then drove me to a hostal! I am very grateful to them. Due to this unforseen occurrence I am spending the night in El Madero.

I will leave El Madero tomorrow and continue this amazing journey. I hope to meet some of you someday!

What a wonderful experience by such helpful police. Great service is very lacking these days. Have a stunning Camino.
