@SabineP

I was in SDC - when the final stage of the La Vuelta reached SDC in 2014. And I saw Alberto Contador and the others bicycling the final stage and greeting them in the evening show at the Obradoiro.

We saw the teams on other stages also in Portugal and in Galicia.

WoW!

...but this has nothing to do with the camino of course ...

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I firmly believe that the camino has a lot to do with that great word serendipity....inconvenience is one word...another way of looking at it might be it's a fantastic opportunity to see yet another spectacle!

Lots of people have bells on their bikes.....not all choose to use them! Or better still some wait to the last minute possibly in a personal game of 'how many pilgrims jumped today?'. I'm having another look at the word serendipity on the basis of this....one man's serendipitous experience may not be universally shared by those on foot!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
This year all the stages of La Vuelta include, minimum, a camino town or city.

Watch on Eurosport each evening for a Northern Spain, Galician, Camino scenery fest!

I'm watching - especially these stages in north Galicia as I'd like to walk the Ingles sometime. Recorder is set today so I can get a good look at Betanzos. And with British riders well up there in the GC to watch it's helping to make up for Olympic withdrawal syndrome.

Hello all. Here to give a brief account of my (and many others) first day on the Camino on May 1. The trip to Roncesvalles was tough. I went Valcarlos route because napoleon was very ill advised...
Did you meet Bjørn Krohn? Died aged 48 in an albergue, I don't know where, tuesday 21th. I didn't know this until now.
Seems to be a lot of people posting about stuff they lost on the Camino recently. I managed to leave a nice new-ish polo shirt somewhere drying and didn't notice for over a week. I hope someone...
I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Can anyone tell me if food is available there… anyone stayed recently? Cheers
