HI there all you keen walkers if you are starting from St Jean on Wed 15th April, i hope to be tying my boot laces too, perhaps i will catch up with ye along the route, i'm hoping this time my knee takes me beyond Naverrete, so much for my fellow irishman's advice April 07.about putting the bag of ice on my knee, it made it worse. Many thanks to the lovely couple running the Albergue in Navarette, they brought me food and attended to me for 4 days, til i was able to stand up,on my two legs. and i was just able to limp home.via Longrona /Bilbao/ and Heathrow. the cat was surprised to see me so soon, not that i was in the mood.. but after a glass of milk each, all was well... still i went back to Navarette last year, and even made it to Finistere, Hurrah... So if we fail, try again. Pat from Leicester

Hi Pat,
Starting 2 days later from SJPP. Good luck with the knee, I have an "old footie" knee which will need to be nursed along.
Hoping the cat has a long wait.
