Time of past OR future Camino
August 2013 (in stages)
Hello everybody
I am having difficulty sorting out how to post at the moment, so if this appears three times, I'm sorry.
I have been planning my camino for what seems like a lifetime, but realise I will not be able to get time off work for long enough for the whole thing. So I am going to walk it in stages, startinfgin late August (oof! Hot?). What I need to know is, can I use just one pilgrim's passport, or can I keep the original for every stage I do, as i do them?
Thank you
Vanessa

Hi Vanessa!

Welcome to the Forum!

There is lots of great advice here to help you plan your stages. Be sure to scan the various topics for advice and tips.

You CAN most definitely use the same Pilgrim Passport or Credential for all the stages.

If you plan on starting your first stage In Saint-Jean Pied de Port the pilgrim office of the Amis du Chemin de Saint Jacques at 39 rue de la Citadelle can provide you with a Credential as well as lodging assistance. Their telephone is 05 59 37 05 09. In season the pilgrim office is open from 7h30 to 12h30 and then from 13h30 to 22h. The office is also a great place to meet other pilgrims. The Amis volunteers also help run the albergue at 55 rue de la Citadelle which is a fine place to stay, but they do NOT take reservations. If their albergue is full they will help you find other pilgrim lodgings when you are on site. They keep up to the minute lists of available space throughout the SJPdP area.

Happy planning and Buen Camino,

Margaret Meredith

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
