Some, and with luck, some more.
Hello,
Does anyone know of a recognised or suitable walking route from Bilbao airport to Pamplona please.

I'm aware of other travel options but am considering walking as a preferred option.

Buen Camino.

Hi, John,
A bit the long way around Robin Hood's barn, but you could walk the Norte in reverse to Irun, and along the coast to Bayonne - and then take the very beautiful Camino de Baztanes. Or only go as far as Irun, pick up the GR 11, which intersects with the Baztanes in Elizondo:

There are a number of threads about the Baztanes here - 5 of us walked it in May and it is definitely 5-star walking! And quiet. You'll meet the Frances crowds in Pamplona, but along the way to get there, very few.

Thank you Viranani,
That's an interesting and very inviting option.

Hi, John,

As @SYates already mentioned and posted link there are two routes that overlapse from Irun to Estavillo:
1.) Via de Bayona (Bayonne - Burgos) and
2.) Camino Vasco del Interior (Irun - Sto.Domingo de la Calzada)

I don't know how suitable that is for you because only Baztan really ends in Pamplona itself.

Maybe one other option to think about - Voie de la Nive (Bayonne - SJPdP)

Ruta del Besaya (Santander - Carrion de los Condes) is probably too much to the west for your needs?

Anyway, happy planning

Thank you KinkyOne,

I appreciate your reply. It will indeed be happy planning. So many lovely replies to a post I was hesitant to make. I know where I'm going, just not too sure how I will get there at the moment . There's a song in there somewhere I think.

Buen Camino

Hi John,
I am looking to do a Pamplona to Bilbao route myself. Did you manage it in the end? Do you have any advice of which routes are good?

Any advice would be appreciate.
Thanks,
Miriam
