Walking the Camino (my first) this summer to shoot a film

Hey everyone,

I've been reading these forums for a long time now, because this is easily the best place on the internet to find Camino information and stories. Just finally joined.

I'm planning to walk the Camino this summer with a few other people to shoot an independent documentary about the trail as we go, which is both incredibly exciting and daunting. Could definitely use the support of those who have blazed the trail ahead of us. Very much looking forward to talking with all you lovely people more.

This will be my first Camino experience, and my first time in Spain at all, so I'm definitely open to tips and suggestions. We've got the added complication of carrying camera gear along with us (we're intent on carrying everything we need, rather than having some kind of follow-van or whatnot), so if anyone has dealt with that in the past, I would definitely love to hear your thoughts.

Good luck with your project. I have walked with several others who were doing similar projects... Including two young Swedes who were doing a school project.

Remember to not let your project become an annoyance to others. Cameras and activity are not always welcomed by all pilgrims. Keep a low profile.

Great idea to make your pilgrimage without support. You will not regret it later.
