I tried to book L'esprit du chemin but was denied. I'm a woman travelling alone . What is the best alternative albuergue in sjpdp?

After extolling the virtues of l'Esprit du Chemin, I was disappointed that it was full when my two friends and I were going to be in St Jean for two days. We stayed instead in the Auberge du Pelerin. It's more expensive than l'Esprit du Chemin but we all enjoyed our stay. We received a very warm welcome, the food was excellent and the rooms were clean and well organised. Would definitely stay there again http://www.aubergedupelerin.com/

I took a private room at Gite Azkorria. They have dormitory accomodation too. They are right across the road from the camino office.
