I have got the pre Camino blues bad today. I have found myself looking at the clock and thinking "in 9 days at this time I will be ....". So right now I am imagining myself in Oviedo having a leisurely lunch (assuming I have been to the store and bought some poles) before my bus to Leon. I have also been looking at the weather forecasts and my bag. Actually I look at and pick up my bag almost every day to be honest!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

I love this. When the Camino beckons, you can´t shake it until you come over. How many days to you have on the trail itself? Savor the countdown and Buen Camino!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

How many days? Who knows? I travel to Leon on the 27th and haven't a return flight. I intend a really gentle stroll of it and who knows what I will do when I get to SDC. Maybe go visit friends somewhere in Spain or maybe walk some more (that usually happens to me).

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

Enjoy it Nancy. It will be an experience you will never forget. I guess from you saying you are leaving this morning you are travelling a long way?
I am leaving from Portland, Oregon; spending 5 nights in Barcelona and making my way to St. Jean. It will be fantastic.

AlThe Optimist, today you are wishing away the days until your Camino begins. When you are on your Camino, you will be wishing away the days until the daily pilgrim struggle is over. Time to focus on the Present, my friend. Today is the only gift we hold in our hand. Today. The present.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

When I was a young I worked beside a gentleman who was very close to retirement. I used to say things like, I can't wait for Friday or the weekend or this or that. One day he said to me " stop wishing your life away". He would say, wish for last Friday for last weekend or last year...stop wishing days away because all to soon the will be gone. How quickly years pass.

Maybe wish for your previous Camino? I will wish for my first Camino again.

Actually, I'm jealous. Living in the states only allows me a once a year chance of walking the Camino. You that live there can walk it many times a year :( even if just on weekends. I envy you ;)

Actually when I am on the Camino I never want it to end, but hey, we all have obligations to others in our lives so I can't just keep walking. Boo Hoo!
