Cant fit my sleeping bag in pack - have a silk liner - 6kg. Will mainly try stay in casa rurals hotels etc except during easter and the first couple days - will this be an issue? Or shall i buy something im sjdp?

For protection from dirt and wet and accidental tears and snags, I want all of my gear in my backpack. If you have a backpack designed to properly secure your bag in place, then using a waterproof stuff sack made of a thicker nylon fabric would work in protecting your bag from damage.

A much lighter stuff sack can be used if the sleeping bag will be inside the pack.

Not really. If you are staying in private lodgings like hotels and Casa Rurals, you will have clean sheets and blankets. If you know you are not staying in albergues, then I wouldn't take either a sleeping bag or a bag liner.
