Asking for a friend. Does anyone know if pilgrim shells can be purchased in Ferrol or A Coruña for those starting the Inglés? Thanks!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Maybe at the Oficina de Turismo y de Atencion al Peregrino.

Or at a local fishmonger. They surely will have some left.

Don't they have fishmongers in Spain?
Try a Mercadona supermercado. (Other supermercado's will be available)
I'm sure they'll have one.

I'm pretty sure I saw shells (and other items) in the Pilgrim Office at Paseo da Mariña in Ferrol last year.

There is a Tabaco/Gift Shop not far from the Pilgrim office in Ferrol. The address is R San Francisco #56, at corner of R San Francisco and R Carmen Curuxeiras. Last September my husband and I purchased pilgrim shells at that shop. They were inexpensive and on a string that allowed easy attachment to our packs.
