I am looking for a garden statue of a pilgrim or Santiago that I can put in my yard as a remembrance of my Caminos. I remember seeing some small (2 foot) statues of rough stone when in Santiago, but cannot find anything on the Internet. Any ideas?

Thanks.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that I was taken by the small statues of Saint James the Pilgrim also. Then, right on the camino, I walked past a shop (on the left) selling them. One was on display in the window. I took some pictures of the shop and its business address. This was last year (2015).

The bad news - my SD card snapped before the end of the camino and I don't have a backup of those shots. I'm remembering that the shop was in Estella, I hope I'm right.

I like online search challenges and I tried to find something for you but I had no luck either. Perhaps there is something like a chamber of commerce in Estella that could help. Shipping must be quite expensive.

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
In Saint Jean Pied de Port at 36 rue d'Espagne is a small shop, Poterie Navarraise, selling rough handmade pottery. Amongst their handmade pieces are small, charming figures of Saint James. Here is their web with contact info and some photos.

Thanks everyone. We are looking for a good way to represent the Camino in our garden and I was hoping to find something. I agree, it may be very expensive.

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
Your best chance could be to find a locally (in your country) living artist and tell him/her, with help of photos, exactly what you want.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
