Porto to Baiona

I'm planning to walk from Porto to Baiona in June 2017. I'd like to walk only 6 days (wish I had longer, but next time!) and am looking at a suggested itinerary from Caminoways. They have a final walk of 32Km (from A Guarda to Baiona) but the previous day is only 13Km (Vila Praia de Ancora to A Guarda). I'd like to cut down the final day from 32Km, but increase the previous day from 13Km.
Can anyone suggest an alternative stop further on from A Guarda that would be a good place to stop overnight?

Instead of Caminoways itinerary:

• Viana do Castelo - Vila Praia de Ancora 19 km
• Vila Praia de Ancora - A Guarda 13 km
• A Guarda - Baiona 32 km

I can suggest my slightly modified version:

• Viana do Castelo - Caminha (albergue municipal) 26 km
• Caminha - Mougas (albergue/pension Aguncheiro) 25 km
• Mougas - Baiona about 13-15 km

Albergue Aguncheiro (aguncheiro.com), besides a typical pilgrim's dormitories - bunkbeds 10 euro, offers private rooms (I got a single room with the ocean view for 20 euro).
If you were looking for affordable place to sleep near Baiona, the Pazo Pias (pazopias.org) hospederia at Ramallosa offers rooms for pilgrims (I paid 15 euro for single) . Ramallosa is maybe 2-3 km from Baiona and from there you have a direct bus both to Baiona as well as to Vigo.

Hi Hongkie, I am doing the Portuguese coastal route from the 7th Sept and I am staying in Oia in between A Guarda and Baiona, it looks as though it´s about half way between the 2 places and Oia looks to be a lovely little town itself and has been recommended.

Hi: It is probably about 13-14km from A Guarda to Oia. That might help. I stopped there last month, staying at Casa Puertas. Oia is small, but it is a pretty little place.

I am staying at Casa Puertas as well! Was it easy to find (it looks a little off the beaten track!) and where did you eat in the evening?

Hi: It was easy to find. We walked right past it on the road into the town. If you walk out the front door of Casa Puertas there is a small café about 30 seconds down the road. They have a restaurant upstairs that was nice. I think it was dinner only. There were a couple of other places in the town as well. Enjoy!

Thank you yes! I was thinking of somewhere in Teo which is off the beaten track and is my last stop!! Sorry I have pre-camino mush head!!
