Having completed the Spanish Camino in June we've decided to do another.... Lisbon to Santiago then finnistere leaving on the 5th September.... Any tips, advisories or favourite aubergue as I understand it will be very different from the last one?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Bom caminho!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Go where the spirit leads you embrace the adventure. Many times I did not have an albergue pre booked and wondered why I chose one over another and was always delighted with my choice.

There is an Albergue at Lugar do Corgo called Casa Fernanda which is fantastic. Probably the best in Portugal and for that matter all of Spain. They provide a great dinner including wine and port and a full breakfast. All for a donation.
There is also a very good albergue at Grijo. The caretakers wife supplies a very good dinner in their home for 6 euros.

Hi Jimmy, have now returned from Portugal and we stayed in Grijo AND had the meal cooked by the caretakers wife... Fabulous! We didn't enjoy the first part of the Camino, mainly because of the cobblestone and lack of signs that we were actually on a pilgrimage, but after Porto it was better. Thanks for the tip!
