Hi all,
Quite a few months ago Ivar added a world map to the forum with markers of general areas where forum members lived. I thought it an interesting idea and was personally not opposed to being included and having the ability to view the map.
Fast forward to now...well, I never did take a look at the map and had totally forgotten about it until today. However, I cannot seem to find it. I show it listed under my privacy settings with a box to check if you want to opt out, but I cannot find the map itself.

So, all the above verbage just to ask this question...Can anyone can help me locate the map?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
On the menubar choose Members / Member Map.
Thank you! Easy peasy! I was looking at my own profile information! Duh!

New question...Not sure if I should click "block" or let it "use my devise location".
I do not really want to "opt out" of the map. Does blocking do that automatically?

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

But how did you get it?
I clicked on Members/Member Map and got nothing.
Me too. I've been able to see it before, but right now it's just a blank screen.

And I have a question about the member map. What information is it actually showing? Is it just the location of just the members who are currently on line? I'd like to be able to see how many members live in my area.

I still have a question. I do not want to opt out of the map. When I go into maps, it asks me if it can use my "devise location" or do I want to "block". If I click on block, does that throw me automatically into opting out? If it does, can I opt back in at will? Hubby usually dislikes extra tracking on our phones/lives, but I have not asked his opinion yet.
Advise or comments, anyone? I'm a little confused.
Also, what is the difference between the blue circle on the map and the red dropped pin?

I got it to work on another browser, but I know that there are a lot more members in Oregon, Washington and California than this.

Trecile, did you click the allow option or block before opening the map? Do you know the diff between the blue dot and the red dropped pin?

I think the blue dot shows that there is more than one Forum member at a location. Zoom in and that should show up as individual red pins.

click on "Allow" to let the map track your location. It's pretty benign...IMO.

I believe the blue circle indicates there are more than one member in that area.

I've just tried Firefox - same result.
I used Firefox on my phone and it didn't work, but it did work with Chrome.

I did not opt out, but it's not showing me in Southern Oregon where I know several other members. It's also not showing anyone in Portland. I don't think the map is very useful, as it only shows members who are currently online.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
