Camino Inglés 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 October 2019 - The Return

Neil and Craig in Pontedueme - 2012
Time of past OR future Camino
Ingles (2012, 2019), Norte (Hendaya - Gernika, (2013, 2019), Ourense, (2014), Portugues Oct (2017).
Hi everyone, just wanted to post the date for our upcoming Camino hence this new thread. Back in 2012 and inspired by my desire to discover the Camino I headed across to the amazing Galicia with my mate Craig to tackle the Camino Inglés. The trip was amazing from start to finish and we had an amazing time... here's a link to our trip, one I'm keen to relive soon. https://flic.kr/s/aHskd5aJsw
That particular trip we walked in memory of a friend lost to a brain tumour and people's generosity both at home and on the Camino was overwhelming. I remember one girl giving a few Euros on the flight on the way over. Memories for life.
In the years since I've managed to walk part of el Norte from Irun with family and friends, our second trip from Ourense holds particularly great memories too and one trip from Vigo ended on day 3 in Pontevedra when we all simply got too comfy around a delightful hotel with a great swimming pool. No regrets for not finishing that one, more important for us was spending time together and discovering towns and villages slightly off Camino we'd never have got to see. We'll get back again someday and complete it I think, can't see it being an issue coaxing any of the group.
So in October I head off with my Basque wife Eva and my cousin Katrina who is celebrating a big birthday (I'm saying nothing) and has always loved the pictures and stories from my previous ventures. Along for the ride is Craig's wife Heather (New Yorker), brother Gary (Ourense, Vigo and The Basque Country caminos) and his daughter Tara. Counting down the days.
Couple of quick questions, has the Inglés changed any in 7 years, is Benino still the hospitalero in Bruma and will Tara who is vegan be OK for finding local vegan dishes?
Any other comments about the route would be welcomed, this has to be without doubt the best Camino forum available.
Buen Camino y recuerdos desde Irlanda del Norte!!!
